Well, it's Friday and I've been up since 4:46.  I kept hearing noises outside my window.  Hubby is up north, so I sleep really lightly when I'm home alone.  I heard every creek and crack the house made too.  maybe I'll be able to catch a nap this afternoon.  Hubby is bringing home some bedding from up north to launder and take back up.  i don't know why he just didn't do the laundry when he was up there.  Actually, I think he doesn't know how to operate the new front loader, so he'd rather cart the stuff home here.  I'll do it this morning when he gets home because we're supposed to be taking the dryer to the church and the washer to my DS house.  Lots of little stuff to complete.
QOTD:  What do you have planned for this weekend?  Since it's only 60 degrees, it'll probably be stay inside.  It won't even get out of the 60's today and rain all day.  This weekend is supposed to be cold too, chilly and damp the weatherman just said.  Probably this weekend will be spent finishing packing and cleaning.  Another animal hoarder is on the news this morning.  This time cats.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I WANT TO ADD A 6TH QUESTION:

Are you buying a Mega-Millions ticket for the drawing tonight?

Yes....hubby calls it our "hillbilly retirement plan"...he buys 2 tickets every week.  LOL!  Good thing we have a backup plan.

Mega-Millions?

Nope, I generally don't buy for the huge jackpots.  But the first week after someone wins the big one, I always buy a ticket.  I always think my odds are better for some reason (which is probably not true) ... and I think I could happily accept $15 million - no need to be greedy with $200 million, right?

I figured I would do a $5 easy pick when I went and got gas today at lunch.  What can it hurt?

I wasn't going to reply and let you think you'd offended me, but I was laughing too hard.  Obviously I haven't been doing this long enough to remember the Friday Fiver!  Thanks buddy.

Ok, this was supposta show up AFTER my weekend post.....don't know how it ended up here, so you'll have to read my weekend post to understand why I wrote.........I'mmmmm back LOL!!

1. Where do you like to walk?  At Independence Oaks park....love that place.

2. What does your hair look like?  Curly (which has only happened twice in my life, after chemo and after wls, apparently stress my body and this is what happens) which I love because it is so easy to take care of.  The color  is lt. brown/reddish w/ highlights.

3. What are you jealous of?    I try not to be but I guess I would say wealthy people, it would be nice to not worry and of course people who say they have to eat or they get too skinny...I would love to have that problem.

4. What kind of promises do you make?  To be there for my friends and family whenever I can.

5. What makes you stare?
Lot's of things....but I agree with the man answer, but I'd have to say any part of them that is sexy to me.  Could even just be their personality.

Have a great weekend all,

Edie

Good morning!  Good news from Ford this AM.  They are increasing production of the F150.  That's good in many ways but for us, because hubby's plant makes the transmissions that go into EVERY F150 (among other vehicles).  They are even working OT.  It always amazes me the number of transmissions they make and they aren't the only transmission plant.

I belong to some online baby message boards (much like this one) and last night someone posted a gut-wrenching story about their June birth baby dying from Pertussis. Was born healthy and got sick at 7 weeks.  I cried, out loud, sitting here reading it while hubby and Dub were sound asleep.  I promptly went and got Dub, hugged him tight and took him to bed with me.  I thank God every day for that precious baby!

No big plans this weekend.  Oh, wait, I have company coming over for a while on Saturday!!!  That's big!  I even have hubby lined up to babysit so I can go out for lunch!  WOO HOO!!!

1. Where do you like to walk?  I get bored with exercise, so I would prefer to walk outside, but I hate being outside when it's cold, so in the winter, I like to go to the gym or use our treadmill at home.

2. What does your hair look like?  Not much right now.  It's shoulder length, auburn....i've let my blonde highlights go...my aunt is a hairdresser and keeps bugging me to let her do something to my hair!

3. What are you jealous of?  Independently wealthy people.

4. What kind of promises do you make?  I know my limitations.  I don't make promises I can't keep!

5. What makes you stare?
I like Bee's answer...no, not monkeys doing it...I could stare at Dub all day.

Oh, today would've been my first day back to work for this school year (yeah, I have NO idea why they scheduled the first day on a Friday..seriously, that sucks).  It's weird to not be going back.  I get my last paycheck next week.  I haven't been unemployed since I was 15, except for a year while I was working on my Master's degree.  But I have the best reason to stay home and be broke!!  LOL!
